Johann Nepomuk Ender (1793 Vienna - 1854 ibid.) attr; On the mountain pasture A subtly painted, fluid depiction of an alpine meadow with cows, a torrent and mountain huts, with the partly snow-covered peaks of the Alps rising in the background. Idyllic impression by Enders, who trained at the Vienna Academy and taught there as a professor from 1829-1850. Watercolor, gouache and opaque white/paper. Old artist's inscription on the verso. Depiction 17.5 cm x 22 cm. Attributed to Johann Nepomuk Ender (1793 - 1854). Watercolor, gouache and whitening on paper. Inscribed with artist's attribution on the reverse.
