Small village church in a snow-covered landscape Large-format, atmospherically painted, characteristic landscape impression by Koken, who initially studied with his father Edmund Koken and later with Adolf Lier in Munich and Theodor Hagen in Weimar. From 1872 he often exhibited at the Kunstverein Hannover and participated in the Dresden Academy exhibitions. Oil on canvas; signed lower right; inscribed lower left; 64 cm x 96 cm. Frame.
