Large coat of arms plate from KPM Berlin, owned by Tsar Paul I of Russia Matching gold rim. In the recessed mirror a crowned double-headed eagle of the Russian Empire with the alliance coat of arms of the Houses of Romanov and Holstein-Gottorp. Polychrome painting with gold staffage. Sceptre mark. D. 27.5 cm. The "Service with the Russian Coat of Arms" was demonstrably made in 1776 for Grand Duke Paul of Russia, later Tsar Paul I, at the Royal Porcelain Manufactory in Berlin and was a gift from the Prussian King Frederick II.
