Magnificent table chandelier with allegorical figure "Flora" 2-light; rocaille-shaped, fire-gilt bronze base. Central porcelain figure of Flora in an antique-style robe, holding a basket filled with flowers in her right hand. A chicken perched in a nest at her feet. Polychrome painting. Laterally ascending, branching tendrils of gilded metal with color-painted, so-called Vincennes flowers, ending in relief spouts with leaf wreath. H. 22 cm. 29 cm x 15 cm. Provenance: from the liquidation of an important North German private collection. A gilt-bronze mounted two-light candelabra with porcelain figure of Flora arranged with Vincennes flowers. Meissen. Mid 18th century.
