Fine dessert cutlery for 12 people from the former estate of the Counts of Otting and Fünfstetten in a leather-covered cutlery box. Silver, fully gilt. 50 pieces; 14 dessert knives, 12 dessert forks, 12 dessert spoons, 12 ice cream spoons. Conically widening, profiled handle, Augsburg thread model. On the underside of the handle engraved coat of arms of the South German noble family and count's collateral line of the House of Wittelsbach von Ottingen and Fünfstetten under a count's crown. Ten knives with erg. Stainless steel blade. Cutlery box inside with old maker's label of the Munich court purveyor and case maker Th. Escherich. Marked, inspection mark with date, master Bartholome Mayerhofer (became master 1804), some 13 lots. Total weight approx. 2960 g (weight without filled parts approx. 1530 g). Cf. Rosenberg, vol.
