Rudolf Marschall (1873 Vienna - 1967 ibid.) Figurative Art Nouveau table lamp with a female nude picking roses 1.flg.; bronze, brown patina, signed "Prof. Rudolf Marschall". Created around 1905-1910 by the sculptor, who studied at the Vienna Academy under Josef Tautenhayn and taught there himself as a professor from 1904. Marschall's table lamps were mainly fitted with fragile fabric shades, often made of silk and therefore easily lost. Old electrified. Total height 26.5 cm.
