Rare bracelet, set in 18K (750/1000) yellow gold, holding 6 cameos in agate, amethyst, carnelian, probably amber, with profiles of a man and a woman: from left to right: - a "Moor's head" cameo 2.4 x 1.8 cm - a cameo probably featuring Hercules 2.3 x 2.1 cm - a rare cameo on amber depicting a woman with wavy hair. (chipped nose) 3 x 2.3 cm - a cameo depicting a male bust with draped shoulders 3 x 2.4 cm - a cameo on amethyst showing a woman's bust with draped shoulders (very slight chip on the nose) 2.7 x 1.8 cm - cameo of a male bust (very slight chip on the nose) 2.1 x 1.8 cm Ratchet clasp and jaseron safety chain. Early work, 19th century. Cameos probably earlier. Eagle head hallmark and vertical cross of Lorraine? PR and three dots. Length: 19.5 cm Gross weight: 68g The supposed Hercules head cameo is similar to a cameo in the Louvre Museum (CN 9813).
