Three calligraphic panels, Qajar Persia, late 18th-19th century, The first dated AH1248/1832AD, with 10ll. of black nastaliq within cloud bands on a gilt ground, personal seal to upper right, note to margin, mounted on a pink album folio, 31.2 x 21.4cm; the second with 6ll. of black nastaliq arranged in cloud bands on a gold ground, on modern card, 17 x 9.2cm.; and the third with 7ll. of red and black nastaliq on a pale pink album folio, 239 x 19cm. (3) Provenance: Formerly in the private collection of 'Abd al-Wahhab Khan, Nizam ul-Mulk (1848-1916) and thence by descent in the early 20th century to a private London collection
