A group of three framed calligraphies, Iran, one dated 1213AH/1798AD and one 1285AH/1867AD, Comprising a panel of 10ll. of black diagonal naskh within cloudbands on a gold ground, signed and dated below 1213AH/1798AD, on a pale blue album folio with gold floral decoration, glazed and framed, 31.7 x 20.7cm.; a panel with 3 couplets of black nasta'liq signed and dated below, 1285AH/1867AD, glazed and framed, 27 x 17cm., and a double page folio, glazed and framed, 22 x 17.8cm. (3) Provenance: Formerly in the private collection of 'Abd al-Wahhab Khan, Nizam ul-Mulk (1848-1916) and thence by descent in the early 20th century to a private London collection
