A calligraphic album, Qajar Iran, circa 1900 8 calligraphic panels each with 2ll. of black nasta'liq in cloud band on a gold rectangular ground within a black outer border, mounted on a folio of pale blue, opening inscription with date of 1320AH/1902AD, within stamped red velvet covers text panel 14.1 x 7.3cm. ; folio 19.4 x 13cm. Provenance: Formerly in the private collection of 'Abd al-Wahhab Khan, Nizam ul-Mulk (1848-1916) and thence by descent in the early 20th century to a private London collection
