Six-leaf screen depicting a stable with five horses, one of which is carrying a red-faced macaque (Nihon-Zaru). The whole is surrounded by golden clouds and surmounted by a sakura in bloom. Gilded silk border. Paper, ink, color and gold leaf. Japan. Meiji period. Dimensions : 122 x 266 cm. Condition. Very good condition.
