Mbuya mask with triangular face, heavy eyelids, chin encircled by a raffia beard. Carved wood enhanced with white, black and red pigments. D.R.C. Height : 42 cm. Condition. Wear, patina. Provenance: Dispersal due to inheritance from the Art Premier collection of the late Mr. "S" (1927 - 1992), professor at the University of Liège, then passed on by descent.
