From the Kifwébé secret society. Large sagittal crest extending to the projected quadrangular mouth. Enormous truncated cone-shaped eyes with rectangular opening. The entire mask is covered with white, black and red pigments and grooved in parallel. R.D.C. Height: 53.5 cm. Provenance: Dispersal due to inheritance from the Art Premier collection of the late Mr. "S" (1927 - 1992), professor at the University of Liège, then passed on by descent. Acquired from P.
