Coffee-bean eyes. Tripartite headdress, scarified cheeks and sharp teeth. Braided fiber hair. Carved wood with red, black and white pigments. Tshokwé culture. Height: 23 cm. Provenance: Dispersal due to inheritance from the Art Premier collection of the late Mr. "S" (1927 - 1992), professor at the University of Liège, then passed on by descent.
