Mixed media/paper, mounted on canvas. Various creases, tears and stains distributed across the sheet and to the margins. Sheet 64.8 cm x 49.8 cm. Frame. The work was also published as a color reproduction in a book on the occasion of Desch's 60th birthday: "Ein Almanach der Autoren des Verlages Kurt Desch 1963" (Vienna, Munich and Basel: Verlag K. Desch 1963). In addition to Cocteau, the authors included Kasimir Edschmid, Jean Anouilh, Günther Weisenborn, Golo Mann, Oskar Maria Graf, Gustav Gründgens and Eugene Iionescu.
