Karl Ortelt (1907 Mühlhausen/Thuringia - 1972 Jena) Resting Excerpt-like scene painted in expressive style and coloring by Ortelt, who is one of the artists of the so-called "Lost Generation". Between 1934 and 1940, the trained building fitter studied as a master student of Alfred Hierl in Weimar, where he settled as a freelance artist after the war. Colored chalk/paper.
