Ernst Nepo (actually Ernst Nepomucky) (1895 Dauba - 1971 Innsbruck) Landscape with fields Nepo, who studied at the Vienna School of Arts and Crafts under Alfred Roller, Adolf Böhm and Oskar Strnad in 1913/14, created a two-dimensional composition. After the I. After the First World War, he moved to Innsbruck, where he quickly integrated himself into the city's artistic life and formed the "Mühlauer Kreis" with Rudolf Lehnert, Herbert Gurschner and Alphons Schnegg. In 1925 he founded the artists' group "Die Waage" with Wilhelm Nicolaus Prachensky, Leo Sebastian Humer and others, and in 1927 he was accepted into the Vienna Secession. Initially influenced by Egon Schiele and Expressionism, Nepo increasingly turned to New Objectivity from the mid-1920s. Gouache/paper.
