Curt Querner (1904 Börnchen - 1976 Kreischa) attr; "Early snow". Original title Two-dimensional and excerpt-like composition of a snow-covered village view by Querner, who studied at the Dresden Academy under Richard Müller, Georg Lührig and Otto Dix from 1926. He found his motifs, which he mainly used in drawings and watercolors, in his homeland. He painted landscapes from the foothills of the Ore Mountains, village motifs from his home town of Börnchen and urban motifs from the poor suburbs of Dresden. The models for his portraits and nudes usually also came from his immediate village surroundings. Charcoal and colored chalk/cardboard. 19.2 cm x 22.2 cm. Frame.
