Erik Werenskiold (1855 Eidskog - 1938 Oslo) Study of a child Skillfully and fleetingly rendered, strongly contoured study of a girl in a nightgown, half-turning her back to the viewer. Werenskiold, who received his first drawing lessons from Julius Muddelthun at the Royal Norwegian School of Drawing in Christiania (now Oslo), continued his studies in Munich from 1875 and in Paris from 1881.
