Large Louis XV Boulle pendulum with console A full-length base of ornamented brass, tortoiseshell, colored lacquer and mother-of-pearl in the so-called boulle technique. Gilt bronze applications. Baluster-shaped body glazed on three sides on lavish rocaille feet. Curved, rising upper end with figural putti crowning. Ornamented dial with enamel reserves, marked Jacques Coigniet Paris. Pendulum movement with thread suspension and half-hour strike on bell, also inscribed; full-surface marquetry of flowers and foliage in contre partie technique. Corresponding console with mascarons.
