Fully sculpted depiction of a young lady dressed in antique style sitting in a gondola chair at a table as an allegory of poetry. Crowning in the form of a bust of Apollo. Round, profile-framed, unmarked enamel dial. Enamel dial, marked Vaillant à Paris. Pendulum movement with pendulum spring and half-hour strike on bell. Rep. and erg. H. 37 cm. 36 cm x 12.5 cm. Cf.
