Group of figures "Marriage of Bacchus and Venus" Goddess Venus seated on a rocaille base under an oak tree in a flower-patterned cloth accompanied by Bacchus in a leopard skin and crowned with wine. At her feet are a pair of beaked doves and a reclining leopard. Above, two floating cupids with a basket of grapes and a bottle of wine. Polychrome painting with gold staffage. Designed by Friedrich Elias Meyer, circa 1756, model no. 2425, rest of order/underwriting, sword mark. H. 25 cm. A porcelain figure group "Wedding of Bacchus and Venus". Chipped. Insignificantly restored. Crossed swords mark. Meissen. Circa 1900.
