Large pair of figures "Malabar" and "Malabarin" counterparts. Malabar standing on a rocaille base in relief with sword, shield and shouldered quiver and Malabarin with fruit basket and handle. Dressed in a long, yellow, fur-lined robe. Polychrome painting with gold staffage. Designed by Johann Friedrich Eberlein. Remainder; sword mark. H. 35 cm - 36.5 cm. Cf. cat. Rückert, Bayer.
