Fanny Rozet (1881 Paris - 1958 Versailles) Young elegant lady in a winter storm Bronze, patinated; ivory, carved. Signed under her pseudonym "Fanrose". Probably created around 1905-1910, an early Art Nouveau chryselephantine figure by the French artist, who was the first female sculptor to be admitted to the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1896. From 1904 Rozet exhibited at the salons of the Société des artistes français in Paris, where she won several medals for her works in the Art Nouveau and Art Déco style until the 1920s. H. 24.2 cm. CITES certificate available. Patinated bronze and carved ivory chryselphantine figurine. Signed with her pseudonym "Fanrose". CITES included.
