Meissen tea service "Blütenreigen" with "Midsummer Night's Dream" decoration by Prof. Heinz Werner for six persons. 15 pieces; teapot, sugar bowl, cream jug, 6 teacups with saucers, 6 cake plates. "Large cut-out" shape. Form designed by Ludwig Zepner, 1978, decoration designed by Prof. Heinz Werner. Design "Blütenreigen". Between atmospheric, blue-toned "blossom clouds" various, imaginative depictions of elves, trolls with golden and colorful leaves, a donkey, a goblin, Pyramus and Thisbe as well as various animal motifs, including a squirrel, hedgehog, deer, fox and a mythical creature. Based on Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream". Polychrome painting, partly accentuated with gold and platinum. Gold rim.
