Small, heavy baroque silver box. Rectangular body with rounded short sides. Flat, profiled base, merging into a straight, smooth wall with multiple fine profile lines. Cereppt domed hinged lid with flared rim, rising into a profiled bead. Marked, tremolier line, inspection mark, master Sebald Spindler (becomes master 1727). Weight approx. 285 g. H. 4 cm. 13.5 cm x 8.5 cm. Cf. Scheffler, Berlin, BZ 4d, no. 451, MZ 105, no. 4 (here describing a sugar bowl probably of similar shape).
