Magnificent Rococo silver sugar bowl. Ovoid, strongly bulbous body supported by four flared leaf feet in relief with a domed hinged lid. Body wall and lid lavishly decorated with flame-like rocailles in relief, C-sweeps and flowering branches. The handle on the front in the form of volutes in relief, the center decorated with a figurative rocaille. Marked, tremolier line, hallmark, master Friedrich Ludwig Müller (becomes master 1759), elder man's letter "K". Weight approx. 295 g. H. 11 cm. 15.5 cm x 11.5 cm. Cf.
