Pair of rococo silver table candlesticks. Round, heavily domed stand in the center with a flared, wavy, smooth base ring. Tall, narrow baluster shaft with a slightly conical, vase-shaped spout. The body decorated all over with lavish relief decoration of embossed volutes, C-sweeps, rocailles, leaves and flowers. Marked with the mark of inspection, master Johann Ernst Braungart (became master in 1754), year letter "G", so-called war tax stamp of 1809-1812. Total weight approx. 705 g. H. 22.5 cm. Cf.
