Description
Large classicist silver sugar bowl. Over four delicate, open-worked, slightly flared volute feet, a bulbous, widening body with a domed, stepped hinged lid. High baluster pommel over an engraved rosette of leaves. The wall and lid surrounded by a chased pearl band, bar frieze, leaf festoons and bows. Corresponding lever handle in the form of leaf festoons. Marked, hallmark with elderman's letter "H", master Johann Friedrich Schröder (became master in 1776). Weight approx. 380 g.
