High-quality Empire silver sauce boat. Delicate oval stand rising in several steps with a short shaft, merging into a deeply hollowed, smooth body. The rim curved to fit and pointed at the sides to form a spout and a narrow, curved handle. A delicately engraved decorative band running around below the rim. Monogr. "ET" on the stand. Marked, master Pierre Collinet/Colinez (active since 1770), French guarantee marks (1798-1838). Weight approx. 300 g. H. 13 cm. 21.5 cm. Cf. Rosenberg, vol.
