Relief d. approx. 31.5 cm; frame approx. 46 cm x 46 cm. Kornhaas (1857 - 1931) lived and worked in Italy 1880/81-1895. In 1895 Kornhaas became a teacher at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Karlsruhe, where he led a ceramics department and modeling class, 1898-1922 as professor.
