August Trummer, "In der Bucht..." sunlit view over a small bay to the open sea, watercolour laid out with loose strokes, signed and dated "Trummer (19)84" lower right, on the reverse partly illegibly titled "In der Bucht ... (Dubrovnik)", adhesive tape from the painting process in the margin and remnants of old mounting on the reverse, sheet dimensions approx. 28.5 x 38.5 cm. Artist info: Austrian painter and graphic artist (born 1946 in Grottenhof), apprenticeship as a dressmaker in his father's business, attended painting courses at the adult education centre with Karl Lischka and Fred Hartwig, among others, and evening courses at the Graz School of Applied Arts with Adolf Osterider, 1970-80 attended the Schladming Summer Seminars and courses with Norbertine Bresslern-Roth, 1980 took over the Grazbach Gallery in Graz, friendship with the artist Karl Stark, 1996 gave up the gallery for health reasons, source: Wikipedia.
