Pair of square flower vessels with soft painting
Porcelain, colored overglaze ground, colored overglaze decoration with white relief heightening, gilding. Model 3140, with a bust of a woman in relief above the four rocaille feet and a dove flying up on the reverse. Richly decorated wall with flower hangings, insects and two putti in camaieum painting above clouds. Blue sceptre mark with blue underglaze mark, red imperial orb mark, a red stamp "MADE IN GERMANY" and an iron-red signature "K. Jung", press number 140. The upper rim and a dove's wing on the vase with the allegory of the night restored. Breaks to both dove wings, chip and crack to the bottom rim at the front of the vase with the day motif. H 48.9, D 28 cm.
