Photos sometimes stained, various sizes (from 7.5 x 13.5 cm to 12.5 x 17.5 cm) including seven sepia-toned postcard photos of the ruins of Palmyra. Landscapes and people in Iran, Afghanistan (including the Bamyan Valley), the Himalayas, China, Mongolia and Indochina. Some of the postcards show expedition members such as Georges-Marie Haardt, Alexandre Iacovleff and Joseph Hackin.
