A set of two Soviet award medals. The first is the Order of the Red Banner, s/n 304554 which was first instituted during the Russian Civil War and was the highest award in the Soviet Union until the Order of Lenin was established in 1930. The second is the Order of the Red Star, s/n 422170 which was awarded for contribution to the defense of the USSR. Dimensions: L: 3 7/8 in., (9.8 cm.) Mint.
