As always in this period, chemistry, alchemy and pharmacopoeia were closely interwoven. Here in an interesting Venetian edition, with a typical Venetian period parchment binding and red morocco title-piece on the spine. This very unusual edition contains a superb woodcut title-frontispiece and two very fine figures in the last part. Very good overall condition, some old dampstaining and soiling to binding, not serious. Fort in-8, 452pp + index, 166pp, 36pp".
