Amédée Donatien Doublemard (Beaurain, Aisne 1826 - Paris 1900), "La Comédie" (The Comedy), 1864, bronze, dark brown patina, copy of the original sculpture by the artist on the façade of the "Théâtre de la Gaîté" (Theatre of Mirth) in Paris, on a square base with stylized pavement, a column and flattened edges, inscribed and dated on the column, round foundry mark "Thiebaut Freres - Fondeurs - Paris" (1844 -1901) on the back of the base, h: 47 cm.
