Set of two suites of prints engraved after Moreau and Feudeberg by Dubouchet and the text drawn by Conquet in one in-4 volume. The suite by Moreau includes a title vignette and 12 plates under captioned serpents, as well as a table of plates illustrated with small figures. The Freudeberg suite includes a title vignette, 24 captioned plates under serpents and a table of plates with small figures. Limited edition of 400 numbered copies, this one no. 367, one of 200 with printed numbers and artists' names (finished proofs, 4th state). Edition of the text engraved on copper by Smith and printed by Chardon limited to 370 numbered copies, this one no. 37. Enriched with an autograph signed letter from the publisher.
