Small in-8 marbled calf, ornate smooth spine, red mar. title p., triple gilt fillet framing the boards with gilt fleurons in spandrels (period binding). Engraved frontispiece, engraved title vignette, title printed in black and red, 4 headbands and 8 unsigned engraved out-of-text figures (including the last of the "petits pieds"). A very fine copy. Ex-libris JM (Cohen 654.)

In-8 brown jaspered calf, finely decorated smooth spine, green mar. title page, gilt garland framing the boards, gilt edges (period binding). Charming edition illustrated with a frontispiece by Coypel and 29 out-of-text figures by Philippe d'Orléans (including the "Petits Pieds"). A fine reprint of the Regent's edition. A fine copy with the text printed on bluish paper and the figures engraved on heavy laid paper.
