Wüthrich 352-363, Hollstein 533-544 - 3 sheets with Merian's inscription, 1 sheet each with the publisher's address of P. Aubry and the place name "Basileae" resp., all with the Latin title, German and Latin distich and zodiac signs in the plate. On light laid paper, partly with watermark (below: staff with snake and coat of arms; cf. Briquet 1383). Each c. 13.4 x 16.7 cm. All trimmed with (partial) loss of the platemark and with small lesions. 3 sheet. (W. 352, 354, 358) mounted. Mostly with scattered brownish stains. No uniform print quality of the sheets. Showing topographical views (reversed) of the Basel area, including the Basel Carnival as a February motif. [ms.]
