The upper register is adorned with meaningless, purely decorative inscriptions. The neck features a frieze of lotus buds. Black-glazed orange clay with red and white paint highlights. Attica, Greek art circa 540 B.C. Attributed to the Guglielmi Group. Height. 39 cm. Varnish irisation and calcareous deposits. Visible cracks and wear. PROVENANCE.
