RARE FEMALE JANIFORM FIGURINE (LID TOP?) On either side, the faces are framed by a sort of veil with a scalloped border. Each side features a choker. The base is surrounded by a band of chevrons and a band of crosshatching. A hole is present at the top. Ochre terracotta with white slip and ochre or black highlights (base missing). Eastern Greek workshops, Naucratis Group (Chalcidian style), Rhodes ? Late 7th century B.C. Height. 5.5 cm.
