Styria (?), 1st half of the 17th century. The Flagellation of Christ. Pen-and-ink drawing in black, with gray wash, edged with black pen, on laid paper with a fragment of the watermark: crowned coat of arms? Signed below. "Gabriel Ho:", numbered "No 488" by a later hand on the verso. 24.9 x 19.4 cm. Depiction closed in a round arch at the top and with retracted corners. - Small tears and losses, especially in the margins, carefully restored.
