Rare historical-geographical treatise by the Gotha geologist, geographer and historian Karl von Hoff (1771-1837). Without the two accompanying maps. - Edges bumped, paper somewhat darkened, otherwise still in very good condition. With stamp and spine signature of a dissolved monastery library.
