XXVII, 591 pp. Somewhat late. Softcover with gilt-stamped. "Oupnek'hat means the secret to be preserved; it contains the most exquisite of the four Vedas, the Sam-Veda, Rak-Veda, Djedir-Veda and the Atharva-Veda, as well as the Vedantas, i.e. the interpretation of the Vedas. Composed several centuries before the birth of Christ, it remained hidden for almost two millennia until it was discovered by a princely fakir" (Preface). - Several erasures, initially slightly waterstained, front cover with ownership mark.
