Eiderland 1985. 85 color etchings on different, partly colored papers (one print on textile). Each monogrammed and dated. Small format prints from approx. 5.3 x 23.8 cm to 14.9 x 21.5 cm. Loose sheets in passe-partouts in original half-tone cassette with original cover illustration in watercolor and India ink, monogrammed and inscribed "Landschaft 1985". Gäßler 43. Janssen produced the series for Hartmut Frielinghaus for an exhibition of his printed art at the Kunstverein Oldenburg. There are 60 numbered copies for sale of the so-called Eiderland portfolio with a selection of 35 etchings. Here is the more extensive series with numerous additional print states and motifs. With an etched title page 'Eiderland. 27 etchings for the Kunsthalle Bremen' (not in Gäßler) and without the 2 motifs 43/52 and 43/64; the latter probably only included in the 60 numbered copies.
