Volume 1 (of 2) apart of this rare textbook written by the German university teacher and writer Johann Gotthelf Lindner (1729 - 1776). He was a central figure in the Royal German Society (Königsberg) and closely associated with the Enlightenment philosophers Johann Georg Hamann, Theodor Gottfried von Hippel and Immanuel Kant. - Former library copy with stamp and spine signature. Binding scuffed and bumped. Paper darkened, postscript and last page stained.
