Sacri Ordinis Praedicatorum. Rome, Mainardi 1756. gr.fol. with engraved title. Title. 3 leaves, 545 pp. Blind embossed. Hogshead boards over wooden boards with 6 (of 10) metal mountings. (Missing the clasps). Beautiful, large-format liturgical print in red and black with printed music. - The splendid title engraved by N. Billy after Carlo Ascenzi. The design seems to go back to a probably lost work by the painter Ascenzi, who is documented in the 2nd half of the 17th century. - Numerous stains, some slightly stained.
