VD16 J 471 - ╔II.╗ VD16 E 4379 - Composite volume with two old prints from the 16th century, comprising 1) The treatise of St. John Chrysostom "De virginitae" as edited by Giulio Poggiani in the Dillinger edition of 1562, 2) The Guilelmus Postil in the Strasbourg cradle-print edition of 1510, with numerous woodcuts. - Former library copy with stamp and spine signature. The binding consists of a fragment of a medieval, apparently liturgical manuscript, with text and notes. Binding browned, front cover with holes. Mirror cracked, flyleaf only a fragment. The postilion incomplete: Title page of part 1 missing, furthermore a woodcut has been cut out, a few woodcuts amateurishly colored. Book block waterstained in places, a few pages corner creased, otherwise in good condition with firm binding and good text conservation. Scattered marginalia in an old hand.
