[6] ff. including title, preface by Guillaume Apollinaire "A propos de l'art des Noirs" and presentation by Paul Guillaume, followed by 24 photographs (vintage silver prints mounted on plates) of Oceanic art (4 objects on 2 plates) and African art (22 objects on 22 plates) from Paul Guillaume's collections, Ambroise Vollard, Alphonse Kann, Jos Hessel, Henri Matisse, André Level, Bernard d'Hendecourt, Maurice de Vlaminck, Comte de Gouy d'Harsy, Musée du Trocadéro, etc. Ex-libris monogrammed F.C. in blue pencil on title page. Enclosed is the program for the Première Séance de Poésie et de Musique organized by Pierre Bertin at Paul Guillaume's, 108 Faubourg Saint-Honoré, on November 13, 1917, 4 pp. including cover illustrated with a black engraved drawing by André DERAIN, with facsimile reproduction of a text by Jean Cocteau on p. 2 ("A Paul Guillaume, négrier") and on page 3 the actual program for the evening, beginning with a "causerie" by Guillaume Apollinaire ("Choses et autres") and readings of texts by André Biguet, Blaise Cendrars, Valéry Larbaud, René Chalupt and recitals of pieces by Satie.
